Stir fried veggies!! Easy and Delicious!

Stir fried veggies are easy and delicious.  You can take just about any veggie and stir fry them together and you have a delicious meal.  Here I stir fried my favorites, broccoli, onions, mushrooms and peppers and it was simply delicious.  Have you tried stir frying any veggies?  Just think of what your favorite veggie is and put it together with some onions and peppers, that's some good eating.  Corn, green beans, squash, zuchini....any one of those veggies would be delicious.  Try it and let me know how it turns out...share a picture!!

Spiralize your life!!!

Ok...so you love spaghetti....but the noodles may not be too good for you.  I have a spiralizer and I absolutely love it!!!  You can spiralize just about anything, but zucchini is my favorite.  Here is the spiralizer that I have:

One Week Celebration!!!

I am so excited to say that I have been clean eating for a week now!!!  Yes, I start and I stop, and start again....but the important thing is that I continue!!   Yesssssss!!!  I keep it going!!  This week, here is the routine that I followed.  Did I follow it perfectly?  No, I didn't, but I kept it moving and persevered!!!  There were some days where I did not get all my water in, and some days I skipped breakfast, but I kept on til I finished.  The plan is to continue this for 30 days.  I have a secret group on Facebook called Eat for Life!.  If you want to join me, send a request and you can take this journey along with me!!

Morning:  Green Drink, and 32oz of water
Breakfast:  My favorite fruit, heated or cold
Snack:  If I am hungry I will eat a handful of nuts, or a fruit or veggie.  Normally, I am not hungry at this point.  I also drink another 32oz of water.
Lunch:  A veggie meal of some sort.  This is my biggest meal of the day.  I may have a veggie sandwich and a salad, or a veggie soup and salad...stir fried veggies and a salad...any combination.
Snack:  Same as above snack, and I will drink another 32oz of water
Dinner:  I have a light dinner or quinoa and veggies, steamed veggies or a salad

At night I take Universal Mind...its is a bitter cleanser.  It cleans EVERYTHING out of your system, and I mean EVERYTHING!!!!  I have also tried the MagO7 which is a cleanser as well.  I will post later about both of these.

Not out yet!

Why is it so hard to eat good????

DANG!!!  You know when your body is not happy.  You can feel it.  If you close your eyes and just get quiet and listen...your body will tell you how unhappy it is.  My body is not happy.  But it's so easy to eat bad!!! What good fast food is there? Besides a side salad that comes with croutons or something else bad....where's the good food??  Where is the fast good food?? Why isn't it easier for people to eat good....but so easy to eat bad????  Our S.A.D. sad Standard American Diet.  I want change but my lifestyle is so busy....I need good fast food....NOW!!!!

Today...ehhh....not so good

So, today at work I had my 35 Oz of water....35 Oz of juice and my cucumber and apples as snacks. For dinner, I repeated the Mahi Mahi with couscous.  It was not as good the second time around.  The first time I had pearled couscous and I really enjoyed it.  But when I cooked It last night, I found some regular couscous in the grocery store.  It was ok, just preferred the texture of the pearled couscous.   Well....I didn't drink but 8oz of my smoothie....and drank no water during the day.  That's not good.  I did eat my snacks and dinner at 9ish.  Thise cucumbers are sooooo good!!!  Right now, after dinner, I am stuffed.  I have to make sure I drink my smoothie first thing and drink at least half of the water when I get to work.  I have to go to the bathroom very frequently because I drink the water so close to bed time.  Bad idea.  Tonight I'll drink the water but tomorrow I'll try to drink it during the day mostly.  We'll see.  I don't know if anyone reads these....say hi if you are ;)

Today's eats

Today I started the day with some Berry Detox tea sweetened with organic Stevia.  I used a spoonful of Stevia....and man that stuff is sweet.  It's a different kind of sweet though...not like sugar, but still very good.  That Berry Detox tea is really strong, so the sweetener did nicely making it ok to drink.  I have a 32 Oz bottle of water and 32 Oz of Berry Pineapple smoothie.  I didn't like it at first, but I've been sipping all day.  It's grown on me.  I cut the cucumbers last night and seasoned them with sea salt and pepper and some Newmans Own Caesar Dressing.  That dressing is sooooo good...those cucumbers were so tasty.  I gave my husband a bigger serving than I gave myself...I won't do that again.  I also had HoneyCrisp apples.  I like those the best.  Had Red Delicious yesterday...they were not crisp, kind of soggy...I dunno.  I didn't like them.  Tonight Pineapple Mahi Mahi.  I don't think I've ever had Mahi Mahi before...I cooked it last night and of course I had to taste it....it was really good.  I posted a pic in another post...looks good right??  Happy Eating!

Crappy.  Ugh.  Stomach in knots.  Light feeling of a headache.  Just not good.  I mean...I can't be experiencing food withdrawal,  can I?  Am I going through withdrawal of being addicted to...to FOOD???  I have done this before...so why am I feeling this way?  Definitely not 100%.  Feel a little nauseous too....I am very aware of my salivary glands in the back of my jaw.  Feels weird.  Just want to go home and lay on the couch.   I have to get to the gym and walk on the treadmill at least 20 minutes,  or do the 30 minute circuit.   Energy....fading....and it's only 11 a.m.

30 Day Challenge

So today, I started JJ Smiths 30 day challenge.  You have 2 smoothies and one meal with snacks.  Doesn't seem too hard. I had a smoothie this morning for breakfast,  with a cup of green tea.  I had a salad as a snack as I continued chewing on my smoothie.  For dinner, I had collards stir-fried with Turkey sausage.  It. Was. Delicious.  Period.  Tomorrow,  same thing repeated but with a pineapple berry smoothie.
